Who Am I?
Hi, I’m Grace Maddox — a filmmaker, photographer, and visual storyteller with a passion for capturing meaningful moments and creating impactful narratives. I earned my BFA in Film and Media Arts from Southern Methodist University’s Meadows School of the Arts, where I laid the foundation for what has become a dynamic and fulfilling creative journey.
I’ve had the chance to work across a wide range of projects including short films, feature films, music videos, and commercials. My short films have received several awards, and I’ve been honored with Best Young Filmmaker recognition — achievements that continue to inspire me to push creative boundaries.
Photography is another big part of my world. Whether it's documenting life as it unfolds or crafting stylized visuals, I love exploring new ways to tell stories through the lens.
I grew up as a military kid, moving all around the country, which gave me a unique perspective on people, places, and the power of connection. That experience continues to influence my work and fuels my curiosity as an artist.
Thanks for stopping by — I’m always excited to collaborate and create something new.
